Steak Chimichurri

they were running thick cut porterhouses at the commissary the other day at $6.41 per lb. tonight i decided to rock one tonight. if you’ve never had steak chimichurri, it’s outstanding. it’s an argentinian dish where the steak is topped with a sauce made from parsley, olive oil, crushed red pepper, garlic, and red wine vinegar. shuck it all in a food processor and once you cook your steak, top it with the sauce. i like to marinate the steak in a bit of chimichurri, then grill it and top with the rest of the sauce.

done-ski. LOVE chimichurri.
