Further Evidence on the Pussification of the American Male

growing up in souther louisiana, we’ve bugged in for MANY a hurricane. even as a boy, i’d watch the storm with a strange amazement and fascination. well, i was watching a special on the wether channel and they played the following video.

the douche chills were EPIC.

at the beginning, kid seems all cool, and bad-ass. then shit gets real, and he goes from bruce willis to judy garland in NANOSECONDS.

there is some bad language, so…..you might want to turn it down some.

it’s almost funny. then you realize….it’s sad.

stay up.

In reference to the guy talking in the clip; I think that guy sucked too long on the titty and ingested a huge dose of estrogen.

It’s funny how some people let situations or circumstances dictate their lives instead of realizing their inner self and reacting to the situation as only they can. At the end of the clip, when someone says that there is a fire, someone (I think it’s the dad) says that they can’t do anything about it, but they are as calm as they can be.

Being male is knowing what you can and can’t do, what resources you have on hand, what situation you are currently in, what your options are at the moment, and deciding if you can improve your situation for the better, and making a choice based upon that criteria, and acting upon that choice.

well it happened up north, i think it was superstorm sandy, and i had more than one friend from the NE ask me what they should do. the storm was about a day away. i told them to grab what they need, and get the fuck out.

i had ZERO pity for the people that stay as most of them had a “who cares” attitude about katrina.

When something like that happens, it affects more than just the locals. I work for an electric coop and we sent some of our guys down along with fuel and bottled water there for Katina…man what a mess. To be without the essentials for so long…not good at all. FEMA was not on the ball with that one either.

I can believe that (still restoring homes and landmarks). It’s pretty sad that people resort to looting during times like those, and the looters are most likely not too distant neighbors. Just goes to show you what kind of a world we live in these days.

Recently we had a pretty bad storm & a neighbor’s tree fell into our yard. I didn’t see it happen, but you could tell it whipped around before it came crashing down because it dented their storage shelter that was about 15 feet away from it on the other side.

Of course, they didn’t do anything about it except cut down two more and let them fall into our yard, too. What they don’t know is that now that it is WAR!!! we are going to implement some plans for blotting them out of our sight with a very tall, ugly fence. I’m thinking 8′ corrugated tin.

We were going to be nice and put up a shorter, pretty, wood fence. Oh well, it would have come down with that tree anyway 🙂

Hey, Judy Garland went through a feckin’ TORNADO, not to mention a really bad hallucinatory trip, and I don’t remember her screaming like this guy.

Judy is BADASS. And her little dog, too. Don’t be hatin’.

    Moderation?? Really?

Apparently, the fuckwads have discovered this little corner of the interwebs?
